Frequently asked questions about Taledon

These answers help businesses understand how Taledon connects daily operations around the schedule and supports online booking.

Free through 31 December 2026.
What exactly is free?

Accounts created in 2026 receive all current Taledon features free through 31 December 2026. SMS costs are included. You do not need a payment card to register.

What happens after 2026?

Future prices are not published yet. We will contact you before the free period ends to agree the next steps. There is no automatic service cutoff on 1 January and no automatic charge.

Can you help me get set up?

Yes. Create an account yourself or contact us to walk through your services, team and schedule together. If you have existing records to move, tell us what you use so we can discuss the options.

Can I use Taledon before enabling online booking?

Yes. You can enter appointments and organise your schedule in the calendar. Publish your booking page when you are ready to let clients book online.

Can I start if I work alone?

Yes. Start with your own services and working hours. You can add staff and assign access if your team grows.

What if I already keep appointments or client records elsewhere?

Tell us where you keep your records and what you want to bring across. We will discuss the available options with you before agreeing on the next steps.

Do my clients need an account?

Clients can book through your public Taledon page without creating an account. Your booking settings determine the information and verification required.

Can clients pay online through Taledon?

Online payments are not currently available. Taledon handles scheduling and booking management; you arrange payment with your clients separately.

What is Taledon?

Taledon is an operations platform for appointment-based service businesses, connecting calendars and bookings with clients, staff, services, locations, notifications, analytics, and public booking.

Can customers book online?

Yes. The business shares a link to its public Taledon booking page. The customer chooses a service and time, then verifies their phone number.

How does a business start with online booking?

The business configures its profile, services, team, and availability, then shares its hosted Taledon booking page with customers.

Which regions are supported?

The region selector covers Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Austria, Germany, and the United Kingdom, with product focus on the Balkans, DACH, and CEE.

How does Taledon use AI?

Taledon uses AI through an authenticated connector that lets approved assistants work with structured business data instead of guessing from free text. An assistant can read business context, understand services and staff, ask Taledon for available slots, list bookings, and perform booking changes when the business has explicitly enabled write access.

How can a business get started?

A business can use guided registration or contact the Taledon team for assisted setup of the profile, location, and first access.

Can I control what each team member can access?

Yes. Taledon has role-based access control: give each team member a role: owner, administrator, a ready-made limited front-desk role, or a custom role you define. Those permissions apply across bookings, clients, services, locations, analytics, finances, and settings, so areas like finances stay owner-only until you choose to share them.

AI

AI-enabled appointment operations

Businesses can connect an approved AI assistant through a scoped, authenticated connector (MCP): it reads the service catalog, checks real availability, lists bookings, and makes approved booking changes when the business enables write access. Taledon stays the system of record, so every change still passes the same permissions, ownership checks, and audit trail.
